Odo Simon Agbo (the Man of the Pulpit) studied at the University of Roehampton, London, and Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, in Nigeria, where he obtained a master’s in Project Management and a B.Tech. degree in Biotechnology, respectively. He's a novelist, a poet and an essayist and sees writing as part of life.  He writes because all inspirations come from “infinite intelligence” and they are useful for teaching, for correction, and for knowledge. He writes because of the natural cravings to interpret his thoughts and his inner dialogues - patterns of engagement with the "still small voice"; the urge to express himself.

A wise man has long said that the greatest treasures are found in the graveyards. That’s because people die with their ideas and creativity. He writes because he considers that if he doesn't, he would be foremost among those who enter the grave with their gifts and talents without expressing them or sharing them with the World. He writes because the admonition says, “write the vision on the slate so that the herald will run with it”.

Simon is a Chartered Health and Safety Practitioner and lives in Doha, Qatar, where he is the Senior HSEQ Consultant & Business Development Executive for Bravo Qatar. He previously worked as a Corporate HSEQ Manager with Advanced Offshore & Marine Solutions at Qatar Shipyard Technology Solutions.
